How do I move a non-running 782 to the shop for repair without damaging the hydro?

If the 782 is similar to the John Deeres, there should be a transmission release somewhere on the back of the transmission. On the Deeres, it is an L-shaped rod that pulls out.

Also, hand push it - do not pull it with a vehicle. Going too fast will cause damage to the hydro pump.

No release handle on a CC 782. Was always told the toddler rule: push it no faster than a toddler can walk. Do that and you’ll be fine.
