FarmallCub.Com Badges

Postby T-Mo » Thu Jun 22, 2017 6:31 am

I can't post this in the "Gathering" forum, but a few years ago this was posted there:

viewtopic.php?t=21499

The price for the ID badge when it this post was originally posted was $11. I contacted that company yesterday, and they still have the artwork, but the price has went up to $18. Here is the context of the email I sent and their response:

to me
Hello Terry,

Yes, we keep the artwork on file.

If you just need one it is $18.

Thank You,
Christina

I was on FarmallCub.com and ran across a post about ordering nametags from your company. In the post they said to reference #51925 for the artwork. The post was several years old, so I'm not sure if this artwork is still available. If it is, what would be the price? Thanks.

I used to do a batch order for these every January and get about 45 to 50 badges for forum members. The price then was $15.00 dollars each but with an order of about 50 the price dropped to around $5.00 each. Interest began to drop each year (everybody had one) and the batch price went up even though the single price stayed at $15.00. After about six years of ordering them for the group I finally stopped.
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

I could see demand going down since most of the more established members would have a badge already. And I'm not sure if there would be enough interest among the newer members, like myself, that would be interested in ordering one. I might order one, though, even though the price is a bit higher now, at $18.

I just happened on to this. I'd get a coupleathree if it helped get the quantity up for a decent price. Hopefully this post will put it in front of a few more new members
