White demonstrator sign

Postby Cornbinderkid » Tue Sep 22, 2015 10:11 am

Hi there CUB world I'm 15 years old and I can say I definitely have the disease and recently bought an original white demo sign from a guy who cleans up properties In a little whole in the wall town called Malo Washington in eastern Washington state.
I plan to display it with my white demonstrator cub I got when I was 8. I bought the sign for $500 was this a good deal?? Thoughts??? pictures to come I have to get a smaller sized file. The edges are great and the art is not faded at all it has been in a dry building for the last 40years at least.

Welcome to the forum!

Later Windows versions have a resize feature; right-click on picture. Otherwise, open in Paint or other program. Resize for smallest size 600x800 or so.

Pics have to be uploaded to an independent website (such as Photobucket) and then connected to your post. Use the Preview feature at bottom of page when creating your post, it'll show you exactly what will appear. So, you can get the pictures correct before posting. Use the "Img" button, then sandwich your URL address to where your picture's located between the ""

Cornbinderkid,

Hope you can get a pic posted soon! Are you talking about the teardrop sign that goes on the hood? I have a white demo Super A that I am restoring and I hope when it's done I can find signs for it.

Welcome,
Al

Yes very well preserved I am planning on making some high quality reproduction signs to hopefully sell to the demo guys that have not found an original yet but still want that cool finished look to their rig. I hopefully will have something by November and will keep everyone up dated it is a rare opportunity to do something like this being the rarity of the originals. If I could only stumbled across some NOS wheel center signs then I would really be living in high cotton:D

Very cool. You got yourself a great find there. I would make a frame for it and hang it on the wall.

I would be interested in a reproduction if it is done pending the price.

I'm thinking $500.00 per sign with the mounting hardware and correct formed metal border around the bottom half.
Any thoughts or suggestions are greatly appreciated
