Farmall Cub

I am always watching for the 1/16" miniature Cubs that have been around almost as long as our real sized Cubs. There are some really outstanding kits that come up on from time to time. It is one of my best resources for finding info on these interesting little Cubs. Been watching this one ... and yeah there is a reserve but I have no clue what it is, but I have a sneaky idea that the reserve is somewhere between $1,500.00 to $2,000.00

Rudi, Are you interested only in older toy tractors or any 1:16 cub? SPEC-CAST has one circa 1950 w/planter& fertilizer attachment. $62.90 US. It is available from 3000toys.com. I look ocassionally for 1:64 models of tractors I have driven but that is not a very popular size. This matches my toy train. I do not have a model railroad, I admit it - it is a toy train. Vern

For some reason, these "model kits" are highly sought after and command big bucks.

My interest in these miniatures is primarily from a historical perspective. The chances that I will ever be able to afford a Sanders or a Reuhl or a Design Fabricators is somewhere around the possibility of owning a Gilson Reicke Cub ... slim to non-existent I think that I have all of the Ertl Cubs and I think I have an accurate account of all the Ertl in order but I am going to have to confirm that hopefully with the Ertl catalogs if I can lay my hands on a copy. I am working on the Spec Cast, I only have a few as they are very expensive.

I do want to get as much documentation on the different miniatures .. and yes I know that there are 1/32 and 1/64 versions as well. I will probably get around to them at some point.
