I really appreciate the effort you put into posting pictures the last three days. It makes it fun for everyone, even those of us that couldn't attend. Thank you!!

Three things that strike me about today's pix:

1. Very neat that JP was able to find and show the IH factory locks. Perhaps the neatest pieces of memorabilia I've seen yet.

2. There really are tractor "safety police!" At least, badged security guards at the plant... wonder if they were ROPS advocates back then?

3. John Deere's not the first to put their name on any widget that would sell. I noticed the Coleman drink cooler and thought... man, the last time I was at a Deere dealer (Thursday), I couldn't help but notice "John Deere liquid hand sanitizer." Ah, the age of H1N1. I wonder, did McCormick offer IH-labeled penicillin back in the day?

Thanks for the pics, just like being there. I have attended one Cubarama and do not intend to be at any more (for reasons I will keep to myself :( ), however your pics allow me to participate at a distance.

Again, Many Thanks
Bill

Terry:

There are some really interesting items in those pics you took. I really like those Farmall Cub mini riding pedal tractors.. both of em are really something.

What I would like more information on is this one:

Who made the brolly and Woods Mower? This is the first I have seen of these on an Ertl before. Be a nice addition to the article on 1/16th scale Cubs. Did you take notes :?:

I remember a lot of it but I don't recall a discussion on those. I remember the chrome and gold Cub toy story.

The IH factory locks look exactly like Best Lock Inc. I know 20 years ago Best lock had quite a selection of emblems etc. for tons of different companys on the same lock case.. Would like to have one. :{_}: :{_}: :{_}: Grump

BTW thanks for the pics
