I am putting in a cigar lighter back in my 300U, does anyone know the wiring diagram for it? The tractor still is 6v, positive ground. I think the hot wire goes to the DISCHARGE side of the amp gauge? Do I need to install a ground wire as well?
Any help is appreciated

Re: 300 Utility Cigar Lighter wiring
You would connect the cigarette lighter to the opposite side of the ammeter from the battery, whatever that happens to be.
I think that's the "discharge" side.
Does the socket have a terminal for ground? If so I would run a dedicated wire for ground.
Just as a modern added bit of safety I would also install a 10A fuse in the wire from the ammeter.
