Intake / Exhaust gasket

Hi Folks
I am about to replace the intake & exhaust gaskets on my 42 M. I tend to put these on with no sealer. Does anyone have good experience with a sealer on these gaskets ? Or any opinions on this ?

I generally put them on dry but if your surfaces are less than pristine, a little sealant may be in order. I too like Copper high tack.
