Where else to look for a Farmall MD part?

Postby Jeff D. N.E. Wis. » Tue Apr 12, 2011 9:27 am

I am in dire need of a Governor Control Lever, 9 448 DAX for a 1951 Farmall MD. It's the part that holds the friction discs under spring pressure and part of the whole Governor Control assembly. On ours the intricate casting is broken. :( Even if I have to purchase the complete unit would be OK. I already checked with Steel Wheel Ranch and Bates Corp and both say no go. From what I have been informed, the 400 & 450 diesels did not use this setup.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
