Valve springs for a M

Postby Phillip W. Lenke » Thu Jul 02, 2009 12:39 pm

1944 M head high compression. My question is
The exhaust valves have a roto cap, Intake are stamped caps
When I removed the old springs the intake had an extra coil longer on the spring
Bates Corp. sent 8 springs the length of the exhaust valves only. Thy have been checking but have not got an answer yet.
Any Ideas where I can get the longer springs
Phil

Phil, if you can't come up with the longer springs, you could put rotors on the intake as well. (if you can find those)
