I tell ya, after pulling and hauling on a 450, I appreciate working on that Cub. I either gotta buy bigger tools or smaller tractors...

Speaking of 450's...Pulled mine apart today ofter it's been broke for a while. I replaced the cam gear in it and could only get it to backfire, not start. Had a bad feeling what I did wrong. Just kind of dreaded having to pull the front off of her again. It's a bit heavier than the Cub. Anyway, I was right. Being in a hurry I put it in 180 off. At least it's a simple fix. Plan on hearing the old girl run again tomorrow if nothing else sneaks up and bites me. Think I'll take care of a couple other small things while I'm working on her so she'll be really right when she goes back to work.

Update...Got all the gears back like they belong. Of course I had a dead battery. And a whole lot of corrosion. Already had some stuff to replace some of the wiring and such, so I've done all that. Just waiting on the battery to get charged. While I'm waiting on that I think I replace the starter witch on the Cub. Then it will get put to work this afternoon, whether the 450 is done or not...
Bout time you got Bossmare's cub runnin'!

If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem. My wife says I don't listen to her. - - - - - - - - Or something like that! http://www.cubtug.com
Oh, it's been running. Just had to jump the switch. Figured while I was greasy anyway it was a good time.
You don't think she would let me get away with the Cub sitting around long, do you?
