My first tractor, Farmall 400

Postby Farmall400KS » Mon Jul 27, 2020 10:12 am

Hello,

I just joined the forum, because I bought my 1st tractor.....a Farmall 400. She's a little rough around the edges, but she runs decently well. She starts right up, but the hydraulics are pretty slow, and the bucket will only raise about 2/3 of the way up. I'm also looking for ideas/suggestions for how to convert her to 3-point. Thanks guys.

Welcome to the forum. I've never driven a 400 but have a lot of time on an M and super M which is what the 400 replaced. Nice and with quite a bit of power. Not having been around a 400 I know nothing about their hyd system. Three point conversions should be easy to find just ask a search engine. What are you going to use the 400 for? Vern
