Just bought a old B Farmall

Postby housebg » Sat May 21, 2016 6:23 am

I seem to have develop the habit of collecting all Farmall tractors I can afford I hope a cure is found soon HAHA. I just bought a B and it is in many pieces so get out zip lock bags and start sorting .But the questions are the PTO cover is gone and the guy said it takes only a B model due to a flat spot? It has very long studs sticking out close to 10 inches I am at a lost I thought they were the same as Farmall A :lost:

A and B were the same. However, there were early and later versions, possible source of the guy's confusion. I'm not aware of any long studs. Post pictures of what you have and we can sort it out.

I'm still not following what you are asking about. Maybe you could post a picture of the place where the missing cover should be installed.

Again, A and B PTOs were identical.
