Hello all
I am helping my son restore a 1941 Farmall B and the steering u joint is bad and it appears the knuckles are worn also is there some place to order new knuckles I know Steiners have the u joint. How do you get the knuckle off the shaft I found the little rivet that holds it and have taken it out and heated some and still have not got it to move?
Thanks
Scott

Re: farmall b steering u joint
I purchased a U-joint for my B, years ago, from the local welding shop. Didn't look like the IH U-joint, but was a perfect fit.
Since you are going to replace the U-joint, cut it so you can remove the cross. Then use a puller.

I have an excuse. CRS.
