Hi all,
Just unloaded a BN with a 'work horse' model 10 loader, [Minneapolis Minn]
Spotted it whilst driving on the way to a wedding. It's CUTE!
...and what I considered affordable, so it now is parked in my new shed.
Nancy sez, "Merry Christmas! - guess that about ends the discussion...
Haven't been able to see the SN# yet, too much metal in the way, & eyes that don't work as they once did...
My first question - has anyone seen, or have, a 'Work Horse' loader?
What little I have been able to find suggests that the company, maybe 'Johnson Work Horse', made some basic loaders that then were adaptable to several makes and models of tractor, including Cubs.
Haven't posted in quite a while - having the best spring in at least four years -
DO NOT GET LYME DISEASE!!.
Weather affected crops hereabouts big time - about 50-60% of a normal crop sure glad to see it in the rear view mirror!
Best to all,
law

Really, a Workhorse 10 on a BN? It is pretty small and light but people can make anything fit. Go easy on it.

Guys, I am trying to figure out the picture thing...
I finally found the 'upload attachment' tab, found the pic ref, hit the add the file button and got the below - no pic, rather the I.D. of the pic in my files.?.

Jim, I might have surmised that you would be able to shed some light on the mystery loader - Thanks! - Although I am greedy, looking for more info.
Haven't found a definitive number built for the BN.
Did finally get a look at the SN - 123845 - I make it a 1945 model?
I do not plan to overload the outfit, it will do light stuff, we can find big horses to do big things.
It's CUTE!
Time for bed, the building crew will be here again in the morning - I don't like mornings!
Best,
law
P.S. previewed the message the pics are ther, in fact too many didn't figure out how to delete the extras, - still bed time...
May God continue to Bless America!

That serial is 1945. According to Guy Fay's book, there were 14,967 built.
I notice you have the heavy wheel option, looks like you were loaded a little tail heavy.
