Farmall B Pics

Postby Cub-Bud » Mon Oct 07, 2019 8:51 pm

Here are before and after pics of my 1945 B Farmall. I finished it in 2004 and took it RPRU in Lebanon, TN, 2005. Since then, it has pulled floats in Christmas parades and pulled hay rides for the Church.

Great work on the B. As mentioned in earlier posts, I have a '44 B. I'll probably leave it in it's work clothes, though the grille may get straightened. Maybe some day it will get "restored".

BTW, I have no idea if you do Facebook, but there is a Farmall B & BN group on FB.

Thanks, both of you.

I have a Facebook account but spend no time there.

I bought the B from Rippee's in Farmington, MO. I have no background or history on it. I am seriously thinking about taking Miss B to The Cub-Arama next year.

John Puckett also told me I should take my B to Cub-Arama, but I would have to get a bigger trailer.

I hope you do bring your B. That would be cool to have it there, and to see it in the parade.

BTW, I sent Dennis some literature to add to the pdf manual section, so there are a few things there for the B and BN. I'm always on the look out for more literature on mine.

You just need to make multiple trips. It's only about a 30 minute drive...

The problem is, the B is 79 inches wide, and my little 12 foot trailer is only 76 inches wide. So....it ain't going to fit.

Update - I ordered a 82 inch wide by 18 foot trailer with 3 flip up ramps. It should be ready for pickup in a few weeks. So....it all goes well with the flywheel ring gear on the B, it will be going to Cub-a-rama this year.
