1945 Farmall BN Carburetor Number

I need to replace the gasket of the Zenith carburetor on my 1945 Farmall BN. I have looked everywhere on the carburetor but I can’t find the serial number. Does anyone have a parts list or manual for this year and model? I would sure appreciate it if you could look this up for me?

The Parts Catalog for the BN is the one titled Farmall A and B Tractors. After you make another post, you can access a copy of it in the PDF manuals under the Quick links at the top of this page. If your tractor has the gasoline carburetor, it is IH number 52499 DB, Zenith number O-9752. If you have the distillate carburetor (with adjustable main jet) it is IH number 48616 DC, Zenith number O-9749. Either one, the bowl to body gasket is IH number 53788 DA, Zenith number C142-16. The carburetor to manifold gasket is 24520 D.

A lot of Zenith tractor carburetors were very similar. Many would use the same gasket.
