Using original harness on a 12V conversion for a 300

Postby ShawnAgne » Sun Oct 15, 2017 8:28 am

Using the original wires on the conversion to 12V for the 300.
The two wire that were attached to the generator were Green and yellow, the Green is the heavier wire. I attached this to the alternator and then back at the regulator (Unhooked all the wires) I attached it to the gray wire as it should be going back to the Ammeter correct?

The black wire (orange on a Cub diagram) is reattached to the coil and should be going back to the ignition switch.

The question is where should the light green wire that was attached to the voltage regulator that goes back to the ignition switch be attached?

The starter has a selenoid on it as it is key ignition.
