Carb Idle adjustment

Postby howhow1 » Fri Sep 26, 2014 6:07 am

I was wondering how to check the low idle speed on my '42 H
it has an H-4 mag ignition
adjusting my cubs is easy with an electronic tach
they all have battery ign's on 'em
one lead on the battery and the other on the distributor -
not sure how to go about it - the instruction manual for my tach
doesn't have any info RE mag type ignitions
"Everyone here brings us happiness . . .
some when they arrive and some when they leave"

Clip the power leads to a 12V battery. Clip the induction pickup to the #1 plug wire.
