Can't tell for sure, but it looks like it may have the cast iron gear shift which was common during the war years. If it came on steel from the factory, it will not have a 5th gear. That is a model 31 IH loader, fits H or M either one. First one I have ever seen with a snow blade though.

What is ugly about it? Those steel wheels make it the perfect machine for pushing up a brush pile that is full of thorny locust or osage orange (hedge).

That blade looks like it just might be an original, made to fit the #31, with swivel, tilt, the whole works.
