weight

Postby John *.?-!.* cub owner » Sun Jun 16, 2013 9:10 am

As many know,my memory is not what it used to be. I need my memory refreshed on how much the wheel weights for an H (same ones are used on the M and C also). I seem to remember them weighing 150, but not sure. Also, does anyone one remember what the original style Lift All hydraulic unit weighs. I am wanting to reduce weight for hauling, and since this rig is no longer used for work they are not really needed.

Thanks Denny, that confirms that my memory is almost right, which is better than it normally is. :P I drove it to our Moses Austin Festival Saturday and while i had it in town I took it to the local feed store and weighed it. it weighed in at 4,035, which when combined with the weight of the trailer I will be using puts it just below the maximum trailer capacity of my Ranger. Removing the wheel weights and Lift All will leave me enough capacity to also haul my scooter and still not be over loaded. The Ranger has the factory trailer package, and the trailer has brakes on all 4 wheels, plus a load leveler hitch. That set up will be no heavier than 2 cubs with wheel weights and implements, which the Ranger handles easily.

I don't think you'd notice much difference between 145 and 150lbs.
