I have a 1948 or so H that needs carb work
(am familiar with r&r 'g cub carbs)
purchased a kit from steiner
what I know isthat it is a 1" updraft,
the IH manual gives me a measurement for float level
and fuel level in the bowl, but would like some additional
info tips to rebuild
??? Blue ribbon service manual available??

The skills and techniques are pretty much the same as a Cub carburetor only larger.

Only thing to be careful of is getting the carb and governor connected properly. There is a tooth that lines up with a notch. If you miss that the tractor either won't rev up or engine will run away on you, depending on which side you miss by.
