Super H belt work question

We've been belting our Super H to a 27 inch Lane planer for short periods but since we've had a lot to plane recently we've left it attached.
What i don't remember (and i've had an H transmission completely apart!) is if the H transmission turns gears in the transmission enough to lubricate itself when belted, or is it like the cub and early A?

Art:
I have very little experience with the H/Super H aside from one residing in my yard for a couple years and playing with it a bit.
So, all I can do is offer up the TC-27D .....

The lower shaft on the tranmission turns any time the clutch is engaged. You can probably run it on a belt for 100 years and not have a problem unless the oil all leaked out.

I was always told by Dad when doing belt work to be sure and hook a chain around drawbar n let it touch the ground to discharge static built up by the belt running. We used a H farmall and a VAC case to power a post sharpener on a wood frame that wasnt "grounded by metal to earth.
