Just completed the H on steel project . It took a year but it was worth the effort. It was the original tractor bought for the farm.

If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem.

Looks good Steve, you should be proud. Since it is on steel, is it one of the "war years" tractor's? Electric start or armstrong start?

Paul, It is a crank start , But we had to remove the block off plate and used the electric starter to get it running. The collar that engages the crankshaft was well worn for all the crank starting.

John, If I can make it to Cubrama I woulld bring the 50 with the trailer. I don't have the truck and trailer to tow that distance hauling the H.

Dave, The tractor has been in the family for a few years. It was the first tractor bought for the farm.

Steve:

A beautiful job.. as you have been progressing with the project, I have been watching.. looks like you had a lot of fun, and that the H really meant something to you.. As it was the first on the family farm.. it truly is an heirloom piece. You have done it justice.. absolutely gorgeous.

BTW.. I like your new avatar :!:

Got a question.. what is the Blue Ribbon Decal for???
