6 volt current output to battery?

Postby prowrench78 » Sun Sep 23, 2018 5:46 pm

How many volts should a 6 volt system output to the battery to charge it?
How hard is it to convert a 6v to a 12 volt system? An alternator and voltage regulator?

I want to say 7.2 volts is a good charge number for a 6V system. It’s not hard to convert to 12V, here’s a good one wire alternator with built in regulator https://www.dbelectrical.com/products/c ... 12180.html
