52R combine gets a new home with a forum member

Postby Super A » Sun Aug 17, 2014 5:30 pm

I've had my bagger combine with the Continental engine for sale for some time now. Long story short I have accumulated too many projects and not enough storage space. A couple of weeks ago a gentleman in IL called me about it. After we talked a bit I realized I was talking to rjfcsa's dad. I have watched him and his sister on youtube many times demonstrating her 4E hammer mill, and their #30 corn sheller, both cub powered. A deal was made and yesterday rjfcsa, his dad, and his 2 sisters came down and got the combine. It sounds like he didn't exactly know why he was traveling the back roads of Duplin County, NC until the very last minute! I am happy that it is safe and sound with a fellow forum member and will be enjoyed. It sounds like it might make an appearance at the Half Century of Progress next year!

I'm glad you found a good home for it.

Cool! It will be right next door to me. A few miles away. Can't wait to see it in action

I remember dad's 52R. It was also Continental powered but had a tank. He said he never seen a combine run cleaner clover seed. Vern
