Hi all...
Just doing some general surfing of the web and was really interested in orchard tractors. What kinds of tasks did they use these tractors for? Did they mow with them? Tillage/cultivation? Pulling trailers? Looking at the pics that I see on the web, with all of the streamlining that you see on them, there really isn't much place for implements to attach or visible drive pulleys to run equipment. Were these strictly pullers to haul trailers/wagons around the orchard?
Inquiring minds want to know!
Mike

Re: Orchard Tractors
The orchard tractors with sheet metal installed still had the draw bar and pto, so any drawn implement the owner wanted to use.
The orchard sheet metal could be removed and a belt pulley installed or perhaps cultivators - depending on the make and model of tractor under the sheet metal.

I have an excuse. CRS.

Re: Orchard Tractors
Sorry so late on the reply, Eugene. Thanks for that reply. Wish I could do sheet metal fabricating... If love to see someone do a Cub Loboy with orchard sheet metal. Would be useless because of the hydraulic setup on a LB, but I think it would look neat!
