Wasn't sure where to put this post since it contains mostly IH and a few other brands. Mods please move to the appropriate place if you feel necessary.
Yesterday, I had a very enjoyable afternoon. I went to visit one of the local sugar cane farms. The owner likes and collects old cane tractors. Very nice people to talk to. He allowed me to take some pics to share with you guys, but asked that I not reveal his name The trip was worth it since he had an extra front rim for an MV in excellent condition that he gave me. Now I will have a spare. I went to try to find some of the original tools for my MV, but no luck. I always get the same answer everywhere I go:"sorry, I just scrapped those a year or two ago"
The tractors are not for sale.

Re: A Crop of High Crops
Wow, I could spend quite a while in there looking at stuff. It's a shame that the cane harvester isn't out of the weather.
Don't know if you noticed while you were there, but the HC140 has a hard to find 2 point fast hitch. Only like the 4th I've ever seen!

Re: A Crop of High Crops
I know of a super AI with a 2 point hitch, and I have a complete 2 point fast hitch for a A-140 I plan on using. Neither of these are hi crop tractors. I've also seen both hi crop and regular A-140's with the same setup.
The main disadvantage of the 2 point vs the 1 point is that it doesn't have any depth adjustment at all.
