The left hand truck is the same model my dad had when he had a dumptruck business.

The logo on the side of truck doors appears to be the same as was embossed on older IH implements, such as the tool box cover on the horse drawn mowing machine. Was there a certain time when they went to the more modern IH symbol that was used in the 40s and later?

The red/black "man on a tractor" IH emblem we all know and love showed up in 1945, maybe late '44. It was designed by Raymond Lowey, who came up with lots of other designs for consumer products, IIRC including the Coca Cola bottle.

I really like the COE style trucks .. left hand drive, right hand drive .. whatever .. makes no difference. I just like the look of them. Always have. The reg style IH truck is cool too.

A very nice IH advertising style photo .. pretty cool 8) :D
