Anyone parting out a Farmall 460?
On transporting my 1961 460 from Wisconsin to TN, I lost a piece of sheetmetal - the left side over the battery area. Anyone know where I can get a replacement? ALso I want to convert to a 3-pt hitch. It is about 27 in between the fast hitch draw arms. So should I order the inserts and call it 26 when choosing which inserts to buy (the other option is 32)? Any advice from anyone? Thanks - Dock

I ran into a guy on YTMAG.com who appears to specialize in sheet metal parts for 240-340-460-560 Farmalls named Jeff Foreman. Here is a link to one of his posts - perhaps you can reply from that post directly to him.

I assume you're looking a trim piece - be prepared to pay $60 per piece - that's what I found on my 340.
Might also try JP Tractor.
Good Luck

Farmall 460
Unfortunately I have a Farmall 460 - not a Utility - so the parts are not interchangeable. Thanks for the try though. I am emailing all the salvage tractor sites on the internet so maybe one of them wll have the items.

Don't just go on what that post said about Farmall vs IH Utilities. If you haven't already, contact Jeff. He supplied my buddy with sheet metal parts for his Farmall 560.

Are the rear tires and rims from a 460 fit on a 400 and are they wider? Red
