The brakes aren't very good at all...is it as simple as "Rachel" makes it look to work on? They certainly are easier to get at than the chubs

Do some research, should be more stuff on the web. I haven't watched Rachel's video so I don't know how complete it is but long story short the actuator has to be clean and rust free. I've heard of people machining down the brake housing itself to make the clearances a little tighter and improve the brake action.

they are simple disc brakes, disconnect the linkage, pull the cover and the whole assembly is inside the cover, just disc pads, plates, springs and a few steel balls, seen these mostly rusted up and debris in them
