Long Bell Crank Link

Postby ajhbike » Wed Oct 04, 2017 6:11 am

Has anyone ever made the long BC Link from the TC to the Bell Crank Lever? Looking for the height drop for the 2 downward legs between the 2 horizontal legs.

I haven't made one but I stumbled across one at a dealership a few years ago with a nearly complete fast hitch set up for a C and one for a Cub. I bought the whole pile of pieces parts. Anyway I'll take a picture and try to fill in the blanks for you.

I thought you'd be interested to know... While browsing for SC parts I came upon 2 bell crank rods for the SC fast hitch in E-Pay. One was $175 the other was $195. Wow!

yes....mine was $30 of converted scrap and flatstock. Interestingly, When I made mine I didn't make it long enough so I had level and tilt to only one side and it hit the floor pan. So I cut it and put 2" extensions on the semi vertical by the rock arms and on the final horizontal at the back. Works great now for the grading blade. Hope you are good...and warm out in the hinterlands!
