So we have this C at work and it won't stop running when you push the clutch in. It makes this awful grinding noise coming from the torque tube. (different from a gear grinding noise) You can push the clutch in and it will disengage like normal and start slowing down, but it will suddenly grab, grind and start moving again.
You have to put it in gear before you start it or it won't shift. The gears don't stop spinning when you push the clutch in. (sometimes they do tho, which is weird)
When you let off the clutch after starting in gear it will make the same awful grinding noise as it takes off.
My boss and I both think that the throwout bearing is totally mauled.

Maybe, but my first thought is the lining peeling off the clutch disk. Either way, time to split it.
