Does tractor run or is this a question on why the engine will not start?

Running engine, timing light can be used with both the magneto or battery powered ignition system.

Read initial posters posts. Opinion, throwing parts at an unknown problem or problems.

Suggestions:
1) Read the operator's manual. Answer(s) to the question on ignition timing will be contained in the manual.
2) Complete an engine tune up including compression tests.
3) Spend some time diagnosing problems and researching solutions.

Engine bogging down under load. Start with the compression tests. Lack of sufficient compression, common cause.
I have an excuse. CRS.

Is this the C113? I believe the proper compression should be 90psi. anything lower than 85 is a problem.
