got a few questions about air intake on super c

I have a super c that I'm restoring an my carb isn't getting any air from breather. I would also like to know where to look for serial numbers to tell what year I have thanks

Serial number plate should be on the side of the seat base.
Have you cleaned the oil cup at the bottom of the breather? It may be full of trash and dirt

I have cleaned the oil cup but still no air gets thro

Will tractor run with breather not attached? If so, then there is obstruction somewhere in breather

Yes I have fixed the breather soaked in 5 gallons of gas for a day.. wow that thing was really dirty
