Wide front end question
Hi all, there is a wide front for sale near me and its missing the hubs, bearings wheels and tires. I was wondering if the bearings wheels and hubs on my narrow front would swap over. Any info would be great. Thank you, Rich

Re: Wide front end question
I just looked at the parts manual and they will swap over.
You may need different dust deflector and oil seals. I will have to double check the part numbers.

Re: Wide front end question
Thanks for the info Pete. I went ahead And picked up today for 160 bucks which is more than a fair price in my opinion. I can't wait to put it on, I've always admired the super c with wide front. Thanks again

Re: Wide front end question
Some thing else you will need are the two stops that come off the front of the tractor over the axle to limit the amount of angle. not sure if you can see them on mine or not. they hit two rubber contact cushions on the top of the axle. I like the wide front end on mine. Ground is not very flat were I use mine.
Check your WFE, you may have these already on it. Keeps dust out of your wheelbearings. Mounted to spindals inside of wheels.

Re: Wide front end question
Thanks again Pete for the part #'s I've got the parts I need on order. That's a fine looking C you got there . I'm planning on getting the bump stop brackets for mine as well. Another question I have that you may be able to help me with is the length of the mounting bolt to the bolster. Thanks again

The mounting bolts are 5/8 - 11 NC by 1 3/4 there are four of them and they each use a lock washer. No grade is mentioned but I sure you cant go wrong with a grade eight bolt.

103 325 (Lock Washer) 4 Required
Here are the part numbers for the metal bump stops

Re: Wide front end question
I made the bump stop brackets out of 3/8" flat steel. Cut to length, drill two holes, round the end off a little.
Much cheaper and less frustrating than chasing down originals, which could very well be just flat straps that someone cut up as well.
