Red Kote has worked well for me, I'm sure Por 15 would as well. I've had less than satisfactory results with some of the other brands, so I'd stick with the ones I know work. As Thomas said, be sure to follow the directions to the letter. Red Kote is available a lot of places, ask at your favorite parts store.

Search function, top of page, both products have been discussed. Read previous discussion on the products.

I use RedKote and have satisfactory results. I only use RedKote outside and in the summer when I can leave the gas tank in the sun to heat up and fully cure in 24 to 48 hours.

I have had one failure with RedKote, winter time, cooler shop temperature, - - - didn't fully cure.

I have tried the sealers and getting tank cleaned, but in the end I had better luck getting a tank from the junk yards, Its amazing that if you can find an old yard tractors that have sat for years and the tanks do not look great on the outside but when you take the cap off they look great inside.

I bought one last summer for my 140 from a yard, it was refinished and painted and the outside was great and the inside was just as good $100 way ahead of the game
