New guy with a '48 C and a gauge question
Hello Everyone, just discovered the board here and have been looking around a bit. Been working on the C for awhile now and getting it back together. It didn't have a temperature gauge on it when I got it, and I am having trouble figuring out where my water temperature gauge goes. I know where the sensor goes, but where does the gauge itself go. Does it fit under the steering in the box, or does it mount to the governor? The parts manual shows a pretty long lead for the sensor, so I don't know about the governor mount.

It goes in the knockout near the ammeter.

I've seen it mounted here too. But that could be just because it was aftermarket.
But yes, it goes below the light switch and ammeter. as you can see in this photo:

If your C was a Super C,it would have a water pump and a temp guage.
