Super C questions

Postby 64/67lo-boy » Sun Nov 27, 2011 6:47 pm

I just graduated from a cub to a super c. I have a few questions about this tractor.

to start with I dont see a dip stick but there are two plug like fittings on the left side of the oil pan, are these a high low oil level indicators?

I have the front lifting arms for cultivators but am missing the bars and shanks. are these availible. or are they the same as the A's?

is there a plce were i can down load a manual for this tractor that might be free?

is there any pictures of a rear rock shaft or lift assembly that i could make?

If there is any one in my area that has one of these i sure would like to take a look so i could see what mine needs.
any help would be greatly apreciated.

The two petcocks that you saw, are the means to check the oil level. If you can wait until tomorrow evening, I may be able to email you some manuals. :D

Shanks, shovels, hillers and so forth are the same as a Cub. The cultivator frames are totally different than a Cub/Super A. they are basically two toolbars, one mounts on each side of the tractor up on the front bolster. Rear frames depend on if it has fast hitch or not.

Hey Pete, I have most of the cultivators and will get rid of them cheap :D , by the way the shanks are longer on a C or SC than a cub or SA with the exception of the longer rear one that most folks dont have any way
