I was doing my normal surfing on the web, and found an add for this old C. It is, Barn Fresh. It starts right up and runs good at idle and eventually runs well at mid idle. Just a puff of smoke at start up. I have done nothing to it yet. It shifts great and is quiet, the steering is smooth and the hydro works good, tins are pretty straight. I can tell it needs the normal tune up and fluids changed and fuel bowl and screen cleaned. It also has a 3 pt hitch. The pto works good also. The one thing it does need is new rubber on the back. they hold air, have good tread, but the sidewalls are rotting. Here are some pics. I doubt I will touch it, and will just find it a new home. His next step was to scrap it, and we could not have that now could we.

Neat!! We have a 230, temporarily out of commission with an oil pressure problem, but it is a gutsy tractor for its size. The C/Super C family of tractors just handle SO nice....it was DEFINATELY too nice to scrap!
I'd love to run across a C or Super C with a mounted IH one-row cornpicker--and at the same time have the extra $$$ to do something about it!!

IH's are RED. Just say NO to yellow and white!
Let us pray for farmers and all who prepare the soil for planting, that the seeds they sow may lead to a bountiful harvest.

The way scrap prices are here, and the Meth heads, combined with the lack of jobs, you would be surprised what goes across the scale. And here, once across the scale, it heads to China.

Can you take some up close pictures of the three point, and mainly how the upper brackets and linkage works. I've been trying to make one for my C and this looks VERY similar to what I have pictured in my head. Thanks!
