Super C tire sizeI need new tires for my Super C and was looking at getting 11.2 x 36 size tires. I found out I can't get them locally. The only size available is 12.4 x 36. Does anyone know if they will work without any problems?

Re: Super C tire sizeShouldn't be a problem. Do you know how wide your rims are?

If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem. My wife says I don't listen to her. - - - - - - - - Or something like that! http://www.cubtug.com
Re: Super C tire sizeThe rims are about 9 and 1/2 inches wide.

Re: Super C tire sizeI personally think 12.4's are too wide, especially on that rim. I would find a different tire dealer. They should be able to order them from somewhere.

Re: Super C tire sizeWe just put a new 11.2 X 36 TITAN brand on our Super C this weekend. it was ordered from our local farm store. They obtained it within a couple days and its on the tractor. You should be able to order a 11.2.
Re: Super C tire sizeThanks for the help. There isn't much farming done in the Phoenix area anymore and we don't have farm stores. I am going to give one more try at the tire place we have close by and if they don't want to help I will order them online. Thanks again for the replies.

Re: Super C tire sizeI don't have anything with a 36" rim but on my farmall 100 I have 12.4x24 tires on the stock 9.5" wide rims and it works fine. My big Kubota has stock 12.4x24 tires on the front and the rim is 10.5" wide. So I would go with the best price and availability between the two tires. Plus a taller tire has more sidewall and more cushion for your ride.
