At least the pdf version. I will be forwarding on to Rudi....and to anyone else who may need it. I'll work on the jpeg conversion as time permits.

Re: Super C Manual *Completed*
I've tried to e-mail the 33mb folder to Rudi, but my computer defaults to Microsoft Outlook E-mail......which I don't use, and it gives me some sort of "smtp" error. I tried opening my Comcast mail center, adding the folder as an attachment....and it doesn't recognize it, and won't add it to the attachment list. Any clues? Surely I can forward the complete folder in lieu of e-mailing over 100 individual pages.

Re: Super C Manual *Completed*
Harold, when someone much smarter than I helps you get the e-mail problem straightened out, I would like to have a pdf copy of that manual. I'm just about ready to advertise for a Super C.
I seem to remember having a simular problem when I sent Rudi some H manuals. I think it was a size limitation in Outlook but I'm not sure. I had to split the files and send two smaller folders instead of one larger folder. Good luck.

Harold:
Sorry for not looking here in the last couple days.. been kinda busy outdoors getting stuff ready for planting, lawn grooming, tree pruning and other stuff. This is on top of the regular stuff like appointments and Kids
Getting the smtp error on Outlook.. that is a common error. And a very simple explanation. Outlook on your computer is not setup with your account information which is why Outlook gives you the errror.. it has no idea where to connect to send it. I do not use Outlook either, I use Outlook Express on my comptuers and I use Rogers Mail on the net....
THe fix is simple..
Depending on your isp, the smtp address would be something like this smtp.broadband.rogers.com and the pop3 would be pop.broadband.rogers.com
I have gotten the pdf files.. they are big, so it will take a bit of time getting them on the server.. hopefully in a few days they will be complete. As soon as Harold has the time, the jpegs will go up as well.
If anyone needs the file immediately send me an email and I will try to send it out. This will entail a minimum of 6 to 13 emails due to the sizes..and your isp's limits. I try to limit emailing manuals to emails q maximum of 4-5 megs each.

Perhaps you should try WS-FTP software and do an ftp transfer. ftp stands for "file transfer protocal" and is designed for large file transfers. This is the best way I can think of for transfering large files. I create/host websites and often transfer large blocks of files. I am not sure but I believe it probably could handle your entire hard drive in one shot. I've never run into a size limit. Rudi would have to create access for you on his server to an area he would like temporary public file storage OR you can transfer to some other server and rudi could pick them up via ftp?

I forgot to mention, I believe WS-FTP LE is free and perfectly adequate for your needs. LE stands for limited edition which is the version I use. google it

Re: Super C Manual *Completed*
WS-ftp is not supported and the server is a closed server only 2 have access. I have 2 email addy's - my rudi01@rogers.com and rudisaueracker@gmail.com which is only for manuals etc.
The new server will also be the same. These are owner limitations and not mine. This is why I have most sent to my gmail (thanks Bob) for getting me to set it up. It works great! No bounces and I can download them as I have time (summer is a busy time of year for me outdoors).
However, I have a small ftp program that I use to allow users to connect to me directly. Those who wish to upload manuals to me via that route just need to contact me and it can be set up for temporary access. It is not something I like to do a lot, but I will if it seems to be the last resort whken folks are having difficulty sending manuals.
