Ammeter box / wiring box

Hi everyone,

The box that houses the ammeter, light switch and all the wiring is pretty rusted out on my Super C and I'm having trouble finding a replacement online.

I found it in the parts diagram at https://www.mycnhistore.com/us/en/caseih/na/tractors/utility/naaa87uti098legacy/farmall-tractor/chassis/chassis-steering-mechanism/cn/7F81BD68-8FBF-E111-9FCE-005056875BD6/00E26496-EFBE-E111-9FCE-005056875BD6 but there's no info or a part number on it. I checked Steiner and a few other usual spots with no luck.

Have any of you found a retailer that sells new ones or am I stuck hunting craigslist/ebay/kijiji for one?

We brought the tractor home on Saturday and I started going through it yesterday. The serial number plate below the seat is missing, but the casting on the foot rest section shows it was stamped October 19th, 1951. It looks like someone replaced the engine at some point in the last 72 years though as it's from a C, with a casting stamp of October 1949, and a serial number in the 41000's . The body is definitely a Super C though - curved clutch/brake pedals, disc brakes, 2" gap above the touch control etc.

I don't think you have any other choice but to get a used one that is correct for the SC...It holds the steering column solid and steady and you don't want to fool around driving that thing without being able to hang on the steering wheel like your life depends on it....it does

Messicks shows the part number as 355479-R92. Farmall C has the same number.

I assume you have tried JP's. How about All States Ag Parts?

By the way, the same part is also shared with the 200 and 230.
