Re: Fall Plowing
The IH carrier was rated 650# on a Super C or 200. The Fast-Hitch had a dedicated lift cylinder on the hitch, rather than hooking onto the Touch-Control arms. I suspect the weight was limited by the need to be able to steer, more so than the hydraulic power needed to do the lifting. If so lifting with the Touch-Control arms may not matter. The arms posted by ajhbike are pretty long. That will reduce the amount the tractor can carry safely. Your set-up should be able to operate with more than he has handled.

Re: Fall Plowing
I'll have to do some more testing with it. For now, I'm just happy I get to use my C more. It definitely surprised me how it picked that scraper up so easily. I had very low expectations because I see a lot of negative reviews of adding a 3 point to a C or Super C. Perhaps justifiably so if people are trying to do too much with it. My father has an old (Ford?) 3 bottom plow that we took one of the bottoms off that has sat in the corner of the shed for at least 15 years. I was contemplating bringing it out of mothballs to expand our garden a bit if my dad will let me borrow it. I'll have to see if I can figure out what model plow it is but it's a beefy one. I would say it's similar weight or a little lighter than the box scraper I just used. The question will be if I can get it adjusted properly. I think it was previously used behind a John Deere something or a Satoh tractor that I can't remember the model number.

Front wheel weights and a weight rack keep the front end down... or I don't use the implement

Wow!
That is less than I was expecting!
Funny how light the lift capacity on these old tractors was.....
My catagory 1 tractor is 2500#, two feet behind the balls!
