We have some warmer weather starting here in NW Illinois so I thought I'ld get out to the barn. I am looking at selling dad's Farmall 200 this spring and was wondering if anyone could give me some sort of estimate on a price for it. Of dad's tractors this is the "best looking" one and also the one I know the least about. It's missing the serial # plate so I don't know which year it is (54-56). It currently doesn't start, but I was told that the points need to be replaced, will be able to check all that when I can get it to my house. I believe its an older restoration and that it's been repainted, I'm hoping to be able to track down the gentleman that dad bought it from to see what info he can give me on it.
Anyway just wondering if any of you can give me a guestimate on it's value. Also if there is any info I should be looking at knowing about the tractor please feel free to chime in. Thanks

$1500-$2,500 depending on how it runs, etc.

Re: Help on value of 200
Well things didn't go as planned tonight. Was able to talk with the gentleman whom my mom thought sold the 200 to dad, but right guy wrong tractor. Dad had bought a 140 from him, not the 200. Oh well, the guy was kind enough to give me some tractor stuff he had found and had set aside for dad - decal kit for the 140 and a few little odds and ends. Dad had sold the 140 to my cousin so I'll probably just pass those along to him.
Once my snowbird friend decides to come back north, I'll get the 200 carted over to my house and find out whats going on with it and try to get it running. Once I have it ready I'll probably post it in the classifieds here first in case anyone is looking for one.
