My brother gave it a good test plow his garden. The plow was just starting to shine up on the last few passes. The tractor ran good.

Glad to see it back together and running. Don’t forget to re-torque the head bolts and coat that plow with some grease so it’ll be nice and shiney starting out next time.

Stanton. Yep, we were talking about re-torquing the head and how much run time before we do it. We had sprayed some rattle can black on the plow when we last used it a couple years ago and it seamed to keep the rust away, but it took quite a few passes in our clay soil to knock most of it off.

I’d think with as much time as it took to plow up that garden, you’ve run it enough to retorque, after it cools down.

Finally did the re-torque on the head. Probably got about an 1/8 more turn average on each stud and then readjusted the valves.
