plugged radiator

Postby lowrider47 » Thu May 14, 2020 10:08 pm

After starting my 'C' this spring I noticed antifreeze out of the radiator overflow tube, I asked a local radiator shop shop they say it is plugged up. It ran ok when i put it away for the winter, could they be right? :help:
ImageI learned while riding motorcycle if your going to run with the big dogs you can't pee like a puppy!

Plugged radiator, perhaps. Flashlight, look in the top of the radiator for plugged tubes.

Could be a couple of causes for losing coolant. Thermostat. Outside of radiator fins clogged up. Over filled radiator.

Cooling system crudded up. Auto parts store will have cooling system cleaning products.
I have an excuse. CRS.
