The front steering bolster has been leaking oil for quite some time now.
I would like to replace the seals / gaskets. Are there any special tools I will need ?
Will I need a bearing puller?
Looks like I will need the following parts
377788R91 seal
52951D gasket
52952D gasket
488561R1 seal
Does any one have cross reference numbers so I can order these from a auto parts store ?
I checked on Messicks and they want $17 to ship total would be over $70 seems like a lot of money for a few seals and gaskets.

Most auto parts stores can cross it for you. You can go to napaonline.com and get the NAPA cross yourself.

I was able to find the two seals on Napa online but couldn’t find the other two gaskets.

Should I consider using RTV sealant or making my own gasket. I don’t have the front steering apart yet so I don’t know what the gaskets look like.

You can make your own, get them from your local CaseIH dealer or order them from http://www.messicks.com .
