2 point fast hitch repair

I am blowing up the Super C section!!

So, the more I tinker with this old Super C the more I would like to repair. The rear fast hitch has a lot of slop in it. Even with pins to keep the left and right sway out, it still moves a lot. I can see that lower brackets that the hitch cradle pivots in is badly worn. I think the best move is probably to buy a parts tractor and start pulling stuff of it. In my area, if your patient you can get a Super C for 1-1500, usually running. I guess my question/start of discussion, is has anyone taken on repairing the fast hitch or replacing.

There needs to be a certain amount of play in the hitch, especially if you use the SC leveling feature with the bell crank link. I could be wrong but 3 to 4 inches of side play would be normal. I have a spare Fast Hitch on a pallet if you need any specifics, Here's a pic of the tilt on mine.

Well, I’m that case maybe it’s not so bad. I have purchased a copy of an original manual off eBay for the fast hitch, maybe 7-8 pages. Are there any other manuals that describe the operation of the front cultivators, touch control, and the rear fast hitch ?

Mine didn't have a fast hitch when I bought it, but I wish it had.
