When you only have 9 horsepower you need to know the names of all of the ponies!

I saw one at a Red Power a few years ago, and wouldn't have noticed it when I walked by had it not been idling and heard the sound. Needles to say I stopped and looked it over. Other than the injector pump and lines it looked the same as a standard Super C. Sure would have loved to have one though.

many of us have seen cubota, and the cub with the V6 in it, (in vids at least), I happen to have an old chevette with the tiny 4 cyl isuzu diesel in it. I just had a flash of seeing it stuck in a cub, they were slow and lacked a ton of power but with the gearing behind it in a cub it might be an awesome lil tractor!

now to find a donor cub with a bad engine, wheels are turning, (can you smell smoke?? )

I do photo searches all the time, a day ago I found pics of a small aircooled engine stuck in a cub and another pic of a cub rear end/tranny/torque tube assembly with the axle castings shortened to make it a center drive tractor. I have found no info or any more progress pics.

I like doodlebugs and home-built tractors made of what ever they had to use. This may not be the right place for such a discussion but this is an area full of historical examples of farm ingenuity to create vehicles to get the job done. I have a part of an old Massey Harris tractor, no idea what model but i have the engine and frame and a basic in/out gearbox. I got it to turn over, it will be fun to get it to run. who knows what it will be, stationary engine for a genset? repower for an old cub? I have an inline aircooled 4 cyl. Onan, imagine that powering an old cub that needs a heart :P
