SC Front Wheel bearings
Does anyone have a source, part number or type of inner and outer tapered front wheel bearings? CaseIH site is of no help here

Maybe they aren't tapered... I want to have them in hand when I do the front wheel work this weekend.

Not sure what CaseIH site you were looking on, but this one appears to have what you need.

Since we are on wheels, what are some ideas on how to break the bead on the front wheels?

Lay it flat on the ground, take the valve stem out and place a 2"X4" about 18"-24" on the tire as close to the wheel as you can get and pull your vehicle or another tractor up on the 2"X4". Leave the vehicle or tractor in place and get a sledge hammer and a tire tool and start banging the tire close to the wheel. That is how us poor people do it who don't want to take it to a tire shop if it's being stubborn.

Got it. Actually saw a video of a guy doing just that. Since I am now poor because of all these tractors, I am forced to do it this way

An alternative method I like is to place the tire under a tractor drawbar. Stick a jack between the sidewall and the drawbar and start jacking. This is one of the few places an old style bumper jack works pretty well.

A little more unwieldy, but a farm jack works as well.

Saw a Youtube on that too, but I have a 2x4 and don't have an old time jack.

Re: SC Front Wheel bearings
Most of the time I use a hydraulic bottle jack (since it is usually the one nearby).
